What a 2019 season it was for Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen.
Thielen finished with 113 catches for 1,373 yards and nine touchdowns.
He finished the season ranked as Pro Football Focus’ fifth-best wide receiver.
Heading into the 2019 season, PFF has Thielen ranked as the seventh-best receiver, sandwiched between Mike Evans at eight and Keenan Allen at six.
With the Vikings seemingly making a more-concentrated effort to run the ball, maybe Thielen’s numbers won’t be what they were last season. But that doesn’t make him any less dangerous of a weapon for quarterback Kirk Cousins.
At 28 years old, Thielen is still very much in his prime and is coming off back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons. It would be somewhat of a disappointment if he didn’t reach that mark again.
