Adam Thielen among 3 Vikings held out of Wednesday’s practice

The hamstring injury that he suffered in Week 7 is still hindering Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen.

Thielen missed Week 8 with the injury and played just one quarter last week against the Chiefs before the team ruled him out.

As the Vikings prepare for the Cowboys in Week 10, Thielen missed Wednesday’s practice. Also held out of Wednesday’s practice for Minnesota was fullback C.J. Ham (ankle) and defensive tackle Ifeadi Odenigbo (shoulder).

If Thielen can’t go, which seems likely, the Vikings could have Josh Doctson back from the IR.

Cornerback Trae Waynes (ankle) and defensive end Stephen Weatherly (groin) were limited.

Nose tackle Linval Joseph (knee), defensive tackle Shamar Stephen (knee) and linebacker Eric Kendricks (hip) were all full participants.

This hamstring injury for Thielen reminds us a little bit of the hamstring injury that had Dalvin Cook in and out of the lineup last season.

The best bet might be for the Vikings to let Thielen sit and see if he’s ready for Week 11 against the Seahawks.
