Adam Sandler and Cole Sprouse remind fans of their age with Big Daddy reunion snap after 20 years

Adam Sandler and Cole Sprouse have reunited twenty years after working together on classic comedy, Big Daddy.

The film sees Adam's deadbeat character take a little boy, played by twins Cole and Dylan Sprouse, under his wing to win back the affection of his estranged girlfriend.

On its 1999 release, the film became a cult classic and is beloved by fans two decades down the line, despite not winning the best critical reviews at the time.

It marked Cole and Dylan's on-screen debut, the first of many iconic roles including the leads in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

Cole now rocks a mop of thick, long black hair, worlds away from his short blonde crop back in the day.

They were together for the premiere of Adam's new film Uncut Gems, which is winning rave reviews from critics, posing with Adam's wife Jackie, King Princess and comedian David Spade.

It seems Adam's taken a step back from the comedies with the more serious tone of his new film, while Cole currently occupies a leading role in hit teen drama Riverdale.

Fans have been reacting to the snap, groaning about how old it makes them feel.

After the picture was posted to Digital Spy's Instagram , a fan penned: "Well, thought my Friday couldn't get any worse.

"Just reminded me I'm old. Thanks."

Another simply wrote "20 YEARS" with a crying emoji.

Artist Boss Logic chimed in: "S***...I'm old."

It seems Adam's feeling the time too, as earlier this yearhe laughed to ET : "I remember Cole and Dylan being great little boys.

"When I see them now, I'm baffled at how they grew into handsome b******s."

Cole opted for a sophisticated look on the night with an all-black ensemble to match his raven locks.

He wore his hair pushed back but in a relaxed 'do.

Adam meanwhile went for a more understated vibe with a hoodie and collared shirt - completing his look with a glitzy necklace that spelled out "Uncut Gems."
