Adam Peaty's mother has abandoned plans to gatecrash her son's wedding to Holly Ramsay after being uninvited from the ceremony.
The Olympic swimmer excluded his mother Caroline Peaty and the rest of his relatives from the big day following a family fallout.
Distraught Caroline had been determined to travel to the lavish ceremony in Bath on Saturday despite being snubbed by her son.

However, the swimming star's mother has backed down, with a family member telling The Sun: "She will not be there because it would be too sad and she don't want to spoil his big day."
The change of heart comes as Holly and her family were spotted leaving their £7.5million mansion to travel to the wedding venue.
Adam, 30, and Holly, 25, are due to wed at Bath Abbey in Somerset on Saturday, December 27.
Caroline had previously insisted: "I will be there and I will watch from the street."
But she changed her mind after her husband Mark convinced her it would be "too upsetting" to attend.
Around 200 guests are set to attend the wedding including Holly's chef father Gordon and their close friends David and Victoria Beckham.
Sources say the couple have booked Bath Abbey for the entire day and tourists will also be prevented from entering the landmark.
A security team is also set to patrol the area to stop people attempting to take pictures of the couple.
