Adam Nagy ruled out 'for weeks' as Han-Noah Massengo makes full Championship debut

Bristol City's injury list has lengthened with the news that one of their new signings could be facing a spell on the sidelines.

Adam Nagy was taken off at half-time with an ankle problem during the win against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday having made it 1-0.

There was hope that the Hungarian international would be fit enough for tonight's trip to Derby County as there was no initial swelling, however head coach Lee Johnson has revealed the all action midfielder could be out for a three to four weeks with a ligament strain.

Fellow new signing Han-Noah Massengo will make his full Championship debut in his place.

The 18-year-old is the only change from the side that beat QPR 2-0 on Saturday.

Ahead of the Derby game, Lee Johnson said: "We’re going to get the prognosis for sure. It’s not that nasty an ankle injury but enough for three or four weeks out.

"We’ll assess it to see if it needs surgery."

Elsewhere, Benik Afobe keeps his place up top, as does Kasey Palmer behind him.

Callum O'Dowda is back on the bench having been left out on Saturday.
