Adam Legzdins on Dundee transfer radar as experienced goalkeeper trains with Dens Park club

Dundee are considering a move for former Burnley keeper Adam Legzdins.

The 33-year-old is currently training with the Dark Blues after leaving the Premier League outfit in the summer, Record Sport understands.

The Englishman has a wealth of experience via his spells with Birmingham City, Crew, Burton, Derby County and Leyton Orient.

Legzdins has close to 200 career games under his belt though most of them came in the lower divisions of English football he did play in the Championship for both Burnley and Derby.

McPake is on the lookout for another keeper and has some room in his budget after Graham Dorrans terminated his Dens Park contract for a move to Western Sydney Wanderers.

Dundee boss McPake has played Calum Ferrie and Jack Hamilton between the sticks so far this season but he's keen to add to his options in that position.

The Dark Blues take on Hibs this weekend knowing that a draw would guarantee them top spot in Betfred Cup Group B.

Their league form has been less good though, with Dundee winning just one of their opening four games.
