Adam Lallana has thanked the Liverpool fans following the reception they gave him at Anfield.
The Brighton midfielder came off the bench as his current team fought back from 2-0 down to claim a point against his old one.
Lallana moved to Liverpool in 2014 for £25m and spent six years on Merseyside.
Injury problems hampered him throughout his time at Anfield as he made just 178 appearances, scoring 22 times.
Nevertheless he still claimed Premier League and Champions League winners medals.
He left for free just over 12 months ago when his contract expired but penned a special thank you to the Liverpool fans, insisting he would never take their gesture for granted.

Lallana wrote on Instagram: "Outstanding collective effort. Would have been easy to go under after being two behind against a team that good, but we’re made of stronger stuff. Valuable, deserved point.
"Separately, huge appreciation to every single person inside Anfield for the welcome and reception today. Will always be a second home for me. I’ll never take it for granted. Thank you to a very special football club"
Lallana was bought on by Graham Potter for the final 15 minutes of the clash on Merseyside.
By that point Leandro Trossard had netted an equaliser in front of the Kop as the Seagulls cancelled out first-half goals from Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane.

The draw keeps Brighton in the top half, just a matter of points outside the top four following an impressive start.
Potter said: "You have to give credit to the players who were amazing. The response was really good.
“Our players played with a courage, quality and intensity that you have to do here.
“Our second-half performance was really, really good. I thought it was a fantastic game, I really did. A wonderful game of football. It’s a fantastic point for us.”
Despite the Seagulls' battling display Jurgen Klopp was left to rue two dropped points.

It allows Chelsea to pull further clear at the top with the Reds boss claiming the result was "unnecessary".
He said: "I cannot change it now, [but] it feels like a defeat even though I know it’s not a defeat. It is a deserved point for Brighton, obviously, for different reasons.
"It’s unnecessary because in our good moments we were really good, we showed how you have to play against Brighton but then with not playing enough football anymore, we opened the door for them.
"They scored a wonderful second goal and that’s why they deserve a point."
