Adam Lallana completes Brighton move after Liverpool exit

Brighton & Hove Albion have confirmed the signing of Adam Lallana fresh after his departure from Liverpool.

The 32-year-old recently ended his six-year stint at Anfield, and has signed a long-term contract with the Seagulls.

Lallana has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with Brighton, and will be keen to make an impact when the Premier League resumes in September.

During Lallana’s time with Liverpool, he made 261 appearances in all competitions and chipped in with 59 goals and 48 assists.

The England international became a key player when Jurgen Klopp arrived in 2015, and went on to become an invaluable player in the Reds squad, helping the club lift the Champions League, Super Cup, Club World Cup and Premier League trophies.

In his final season at Anfield, Lallana managed 15 appearances in the top flight, scoring one goal which came at a crucial time in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford in December.
