Adam King's heartwarming 'virtual hug' has been honoured by An Post as they bid to spread some Christmas cheers this year.
From tomorrow, An Post will mark millions of Christmas cards and letters with a special message of love that's inspired by the young boy from Cork.
After featuring on the Late Late Toy Show, the caring and genuine nature of Adam saw him captivate the nation after he held up a homemade "virtual hug" card.
Due to COVID and social distancing protocols, Adam explained that he shows his 'virtual hug' card to everyone he meets.
Well, Adam's kind idea will now spread around the world.

Speaking about the new addition to this year's Christmas mail, An Post said that they were inspired by Adam's kindness and friendliness.
"We're big fans of Adam and his virtual hug. As we all Send Love this Christmas, this special hug on every envelope keeps us all connected, even if we can’t hug in person this year. Thanks Adam, for making the world a whole lot brighter this Christmas," said Richard Miley of An Post Mails & Parcels.
After playing his part in helping this year's Toy Show raise more than €6.6m for various charities, Adam returned to The Late Late Show where he spoke with his hero, NASA Commander Chris Hadfield.
Speaking about Adam's aspirations to become part of the ground support staff for manned space missions, Commander Hadfield said: "Capcom is a fascinating job, you are right in the thick of it, it's like a mystery, solving things constantly... you have to rely on your own skill and the skill of the people around you.
"That type of environment, it seems to me that Adam might thrive in. Maybe more importantly now it inspires him right now to pursue things that otherwise he might never have felt the freedom to pursue... and that may be just as important."
He added, "Sure, he will end up doing something superb with his life... but the process and the inspiration I think is so important and that's part of the reflection that I really like to see also."
