Adam Devine set for Rangers loan exit as Partick Thistle eye promising right-back

Patrick Thistle are keen to take Rangers youngster Adam Devine on loan until the end of the season, Record Sport understands.

With League One set to restart later this month manager Ian McCall is looking to bolster his squad for their promotion push.

Right-back Devine is likely to play in a bounce game this weekend and, all being well, will join on loan in time for the return to action,

The 17-year-old signed a new deal at Ibrox in September, tying his future to the club until 2022.

Devine has been capped by Scotland at Under-16 and Under-17 level but is yet to make his first team bow for Rangers.

Thistle are set to return to action on March 13 with a home clash against Airdrie.

McCall's side sit fifth, six points behind Falkirk having played a game fewer.

The Jags are looking to bounce back to the Championship at the first time of asking after their controversial relegation at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

The season was ended early with the table decided on a points-per-game basis and Thistle went down by just 0.04 points.
