The BBC 6 Music presenter Adam Buxton, one half of the station's award-winning Adam and Joe, will be joining us for a webchat tomorrow. Send us your questions now! (By posting a comment below)

There is no better time to talk to Buxton, with the station controversially due to be closed next year under plans put forward by the BBC's director general, Mark Thompson.

The proposal prompted a furious response from listeners – with more 160,000 people signed up to a "Save 6 Music" Facebook group to date – and protests from trade unions, the music industry and the station's own DJs.

Buxton's response? Challenging "Thommo" Thompson to a fight on Channel 4 News. Plus, releasing a cover version of David Bowie's Changes, for which he will invite 6 Music listeners to send him videos.

An actor, standup comedian and music video expert, Buxton first sprang to fame with Joe Cornish on Channel 4's Adam and Joe Show.

The pair's Saturday-morning 6 Music show is currently on a break while Cornish directs a film, but Buxton is piloting a new solo show for the station, called Adam Buxton's Mix Tape.

He will be joining us to answer your questions from 11am tomorow, Tuesday 16 March. Update: And here's the story where he'll be doing it.
