Adam Bogdan pictured in Hibs training as keeper seals return to Easter Road

Adam Bogdan has sealed his return to Hibs as the keeper penned a short-term deal until January.

Jack Ross was appointed as Easter Road boss last week and the goalie has been confirmed as his first signing since taking over.

Bogdan will hope to impress his new gaffer and extend his stay beyond the New Year and challenge Ofir Marciano and Chris Maxwell for the No.1 spot.

And the former Liverpool man looked over the moon to be back at the club as he was reunited with his team-mates in his first training session.

Ross' reign will begin with a difficult home clash against Motherwell and Bogdan could immediately enter the fray.

Bogdan left Anfield as a free agent last summer and has been without a club since. The 32-year-old spent spent last season on loan with the Leith outfit and was a popular figure amongst the Hibs support.

Marciano fell down the pecking order under Paul Heckingbottom and his future remains up in the air after his recent comments.

He told Israeli title One : "The reason I don’t play in Scotland is not on professional grounds.

"It will not continue that I will not play until the play-offs. This is the situation and we will have to deal with it.

“In my club, I am one of the senior players but there are reasons why [I haven’t been playing] that I will not elaborate.”
