Coronation Street viewers were stunned when they saw Adam Barlow's new hairstyle in Monday night's double bill.
The suave solicitor, played by Sam Robertson, reappeared in scenes with colleague Imran Habeeb in the cafe and on the cobbles.
And fans flocked to Twitter to have their say on his new short hair after he swapped his floppy locks for a sharper style on Corrie.

"Adam’s hair," gasped one fan with shocked-face emojis.

"Adam bestie where is your beautiful hair?" asked another.
"R.I.P Adam's long hair," said another with a broken heart.
"Don’t like Adam’s hairstyle much. He looked much better with longer locks!" remarked another.

"Adam needs to grow his hair back," tweeted another fan.
Another viewer wailed: "I’m about to cry why’s Adam cut all his beautiful hair off?"
"RIP Adam Barlow's glorious barnet," wrote another.
Another viewer clocked that Adam wasn't the only one to have a makeover.

"Looks like the #Corrie barber was about before this episode, Adam, Imran & Tyrone, all have fresh cuts!" they said.
Over the years Adam has had several different styles including one with shaved sides and his dark hair in a quiff.
He also wore his naturally curly hair long and slicked back.
Sam took over the role from 2004 until 2007 and returned to the soap in 2016.
His character is the son of the legendary Mike Baldwin and Susan Barlow and the grandson of Corrie icon Ken Barlow.
Adam and his wife Sarah, played by Tina O'Brien, are going to be at the centre of a major new storyline for 2022 when they hope to cement their relationship by starting a family.
But Corrie bosses have revealed that their cosy plans are rocked when Sarah’s new friend Lydia turns out to be someone from Adam’s past.
