Thomas brothers Adam and Scott have been spotted filming at Gwrych Castle ahead of the new series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!
Former Emmerdale actor Adam and his twin, former Love Island star Scott were both snapped working on a segment for the new show.
The duo were seen filming outside Cledwyn’s iconic jungle shop, ‘the’ location for celebrities to buy and select food items on the ITV hit.
Adam was famously a contestant on the show back in 2016 when he finished third to eventually winner Scarlett Moffatt, the Gogglebox star, and second-placed stand-up comedian and presenter Joel Dommett.
And the 33-year-old subsequently went on to co-host on Extra Camp, I’m A Celeb’s popular companion show on ITV2.
Scott, also 33, shot to fame in the 2016 series of Love Island because of his fiery and explosive relationship with then-girlfriend Kady McDermott.
The brothers have now teamed up to work together with TV viewers desperate to see the new series of I’m A Celeb put a whole new wave of celebrities through their paces.
Adam was snapped sporting a lime green jacket and white pants, while bro Scott wore a white jacket and black pants as they were both pictured working with TV cameraman and soundmen at the Welsh venue.
This year’s show will be returning to Wales because of the coronavirus pandemic having hit Australia, where the show is usually filmed.
And so instead of the Aussie outback, this year’s celebrities will be taken out of their comfort-zones at Gwrych Castle.
It is understood the building is currently in need of repair, with TV staff working around the clock to get the venue ready for the start of the new series.
The new season is set to debut in November, so TV staff only have a couple of months to get things in ship-shop order.
Presenters Ant and Dec were recently spotted at the castle as they continue to work on preparations for the new show.
The supposedly haunted ruins in Abergale have been used before, with author and presenter Giovanna Fletcher having been crowned Queen of the Castle last year.
But prior to that the award-winning show has been based in Dungay in New South Wales, from 2003 to 2019.
The show started life in Tully, Queensland, before moving to Dungay the following year.
However, the Covid-19 outbreak – late to hit Down Under – has scuppered any chances of the show being filmed there this year.
