Actress Lisa Faulkner urges check-ups after breast cancer diagnosis

Lisa Faulkner Breast Cancer Cancer

Actress Lisa Faulkner has revealed she underwent surgery for the early stages of breast cancer .
The 54-year-old, married to John Torode , shared her health journey on Instagram, explaining the procedure took place two weeks ago.
Faulkner confirmed that “they’ve got everything out, and so it’s all clear” though she will require “radiotherapy in a few weeks”.
She urged her followers to attend check-ups, adding: “Without that mammogram it wouldn’t have been picked up.”
Faulkner expressed gratitude to the NHS for the scan and early treatment.
