American actor Jason Sudeikis has shown support for England trio Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka following the abuse they suffered this week.
Rashford, Sancho and Saka all failed to score their penalties in the 3-2 shootout defeat to Italy in the Euro 2020 final. That saw England's push for glory fall short, with the nation's 55 years of hurt facing an extension by at least another year.
The world of football and beyond has rallied around the three young players following the horrendous instances of abuse on social media, which have once again highlighted the racial problems in society.
Sudeikis is the latest to show public support for the England trio during a premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday.
In attendance for the premiere of the second season of Ted Lasso, the 45-year-old was pictured wearing a shirt that read: 'Jadon & Marcus & Bukayo'.
Apple TV comedy Ted Lasso, nominated for 20 Emmys, has earned a cult following after a successful debut season, with the series telling the story of an American college football coach who is drafted in to manage a Premier League side despite having no knowledge of the sport.
The second season debuts on July 23rd and Sudeikis' actions show he isn't just playing a part, as he keeps a close eye on the events in the sporting world.
Meanwhile, an announcement of Sancho's transfer from Borussia Dortmund to United is expected imminently but the winger is currently on holiday following Euro 2020.
Sancho travelled to Carrington this week for a medical, which passed without a hitch, as well as to take promotional photos for his unveiling.
