Ezra Miller grabs a female fan by the throat and throws her to the ground in a shocking video posted to Twitter.
The fan's friend filmed the altercation and claimed it the fan was only playing around with Ezra, but the actor turned nasty.
The Twitter user also claimed Ezra was picked up by police officers after the incident.
The video was originally posted on Reddit, where a user named groovylps answered questions afterwards.
Ezra, 27, has starred in films including We Need To Talk About Kevin, Perks Of Being a Wallflower, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The video shows the actor, who uses they/them pronouns, ask: "Did you want to fight?" to a girl who appears to be jokingly preening herself for a fight and is smiling.
They grab the girl by the throat, and throw her to the ground next to a truck.
Ezra asks again: "Do you wanna fight?"
The fan's friend says: "Woah, bro bro bro," and the video cuts off.
A Twitter user posted a screenshot of the Reddit thread, where the user groovylips, who filmed the video, answered questions about it.
He claimed: "[Ezra] was showing her his 'scars' from all the fights he'd been in and she said I could beat you up."
He also alleged he threw Ezra off their friend, and Ezra was "standing barefoot outside for at least 10 minutes while the bouncers waited for cops to pick him up".
MirrorOnline has reached out to representatives for Ezra for comment.
The video has caused outrage on Twitter, with the hashtag "ezramillerisoverparty" trending.
"No matter what the reason, it is never alright to choke anyone deliberately. Not okay for Ezra Miller. Not okay for everyone-else," wrote one user.
"So ezra miller fully choke slammed a girl??? Wtfffff," said another.
"ezra miller fully choked a fan after being jokingly asked to fight ???? what the f**k", added a third.
Ezra has yet to comment publicly on the video.
