Aug. 21--Actor Bret Harrison of "Breaking In" and "Reaper" fame has reaped a tidy profit from the sale of his Hollywood home.
Listed for sale in June at $1.499 million, the renovated 1919 California bungalow went under contract in about two weeks and sold for $1,557,500 or $58,500 over the asking price. Not bad considering Harrison paid $1.24 million for the home in 2009.
Found near Runyon Canyon Park, the house sits back from the street and has a wide-sitting porch with columns and a red front door.
Within the 2,006 square feet of space are living and dining rooms, a cook's kitchen, a breakfast room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A Batchelder tile fireplace, an O'Keefe Merritt antique stove and dark wood floors are among the interior details.
French doors open to a brick-lined patio and a small expanse of grass. Adjacent to the house is a detached garage.

Harrison, 33, currently appears in the ABC period drama "The Astronaut Wives Club," in which he portrays Mercury astronaut Gordon Cooper. He also plays guitar for Big Japan, an indie-rock group that includes actor Adam Brody.
