A student has died after a fight outside the University of the Arts in London.
Police were called to an incident outside the student halls in North Acton at around 6.30pm.
Witnesses said two men were fighting and one was stabbed before the other fled.
Police arrived and found a man in his 20s with stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries.
A pub manager who works nearby told the Evening Standard: "I spoke to a girl who saw what happened.
"She said that two guys were pushing each other and one stabbed the other and then ran off."
An eyewitness said: "Police searching the area with dogs in front of the University of the Arts London student's accommodation in North Acton.
"Anyone knows what happened?"
A crime scene remains cordoned off outside the building.
The victim has not been formally identified but his family have been informed.
