Active Covid-19 cases dip in Puducherry

PUDUCHERRY: The Union territory reported 1,271 fresh Covid-19 cases even as 2,724 patients recovered on Friday, bringing down the number of active cases to 14,293.

Of them, 14,057 are unde r home isolation and treatment while the rest 236 are inhospitals.

Puducherry headquarters (835) reported the maximum fresh cases followed by Karaikal (303), Yanam (121) and Mahe (12).

Puducherry headquarters (10,094 )has the maximum active cases followed by Karaikal (3,216), Yanam (868) and Mahe (115).
