Action Network predicts Miles Bridges to win Most Improved Player in the NBA

If you are either an NBA fan or a regular user of Twitter, you probably know of Rob Perez (Twitter handle: @WorldWideWob). The Twitter personality is also a writer for the Action Network and he recently released his NBA season award predictions for the 2019-20 season and it received an interesting prediction for Michigan State fans as he predicted that Charlotte Hornets small forward and former MSU star Miles Bridges will win Most Improved Player in the NBA this year.

Here is what Rob had to say about Bridges:

“We already know what this cannonball with legs can do when near the rim, but what if … gulp … he can shoot, too? With Kemba Walker gone to Boston, a 31.5% usage rate has just opened up vacancy for someone on the purgatory-dwelling Hornets to consume.

While Terry Rozier and his GDP-of-a-small-third-world-country contract are sure to be first in line, you are about to witness the firepower of this armed and fully operational battle station.”

The Hornets are not exactly supposed to be a powerhouse this year as they just lost their star point guard Kemba Walker in free agency to the Boston Celtics, but the ascension of Miles Bridges has been something I’ve been hearing of in NBA circles all summer.
