A 66-year-old ACT woman who was hospitalised with probable blood clots believed to be caused by the AstraZeneca vaccine has left hospital.
"That was the ACT's first and only reported case at this point in time of the thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome [TTS]," Health Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith said.
"There's no update in relation to the woman, she's doing well and she's not in hospital."
ACT Health said they do not discuss patient details.
The case is one of seven nationwide in the last week, as reported by the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
A 72-year-old woman from South Australia died on July 12 from TTS after receiving her first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
She was one of only four Australians who have died from side effects linked to the vaccine, an occurrence the TGA has said is "very rare."
