The ACT government has updated its travel requirements following an easing of restrictions in Perth and Peel.
People from Perth or Peel will be able to travel to the ACT without the need to fill out a declaration from 12pm Friday.
However, public health requirements remain in place for those people who have been to identified exposure sites.
Anyone arriving in the ACT after midday will be required to get tested and self-isolate if they have been in a casual contact exposure site.
ACT residents who have been to a close contact exposure site need to call ACT Health, quarantine for 14 days from the date of exposure and get tested for COVID-19.
Non-ACT residents who have been to a close contact exposure site must not enter the ACT without having obtained an exemption.
Public health requirements also remain in place for those people who have been to identified exposure sites in Melbourne.
ACT Health has asked the public to regularly check the ACT Public Health (COVID-19 Areas of Concern) Notice 2021 on the ACT COVID-19 website as new exposure sites are identified.
"This situation is a reminder that COVID-19 is still with us," a spokesperson said.
"Please remember that things can change quickly and regularly check the public health advice in the state or territory you are or were visiting."
