ACT records 24 new cases, 20 hospitalised

The ACT now has 82 per cent of its population above the age of 12 fully vaccinated. (AAP)

The ACT recorded 24 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing to total number of cases during the current outbreak to more than 1500.

Twenty cases are in hospital, with eight in intensive care.

Seven of the new cases are unlinked.

The ACT now has 82 per cent of its population above the age of 12 fully vaccinated.

The national capital surpassed the 70 per cent fully vaccinated milestone for people over the age of 16 on the same day.
