ACT police want help finding man accused of choking, confinement

A man accused of violent charges including forcible confinement, assault and choking is being pursued by ACT police.

ACT Policing are seeking help from the public in finding 34-year-old man Alan Matas, following a warrant being issued for his arrest.

They said the man is actively evading policing, and has also been involved in a number of traffic incidents including failing to stop for police.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website and quote 6964448. Information can be provided anonymously.
