ACT police seek witnesses to Cotter Road collision

Police seek information on a two car collision that occurred on Saturday night.

ACT police are seeking witnesses and footage of a two car collision on Cotter Road in Weston on Saturday April 18.

At 9 pm a black Mercedes E350 and a red Mazda RX8 collided at the intersection of the Tuggeranong Parkway and Cotter Road.

A passenger from the Mercedes suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital by paramedics.

A Caucasian man and woman from the Mazda allegedly fled the scene on foot without providing assistance or details.

The pair were seen fleeing towards the intersection of Cotter Road and Kirkpatrick Street.

ACT police would like to speak to witnesses who could identify the two individuals who fled. Anyone with dash cam footage of the area near the incident is encouraged to contact police.
