A special means that for one of the shows, children can go for free to the shows at Forest Recreation Ground when accompanied by one full paying adult.

This year's show will also feature a Didyk troupe (Russian swing) performance with performers from Ukraine.

The show concludes with a large suspended carousel inside the big top.

The circus is one of the original forms of travelling theatres dating back to when many towns didn't have their own venue.

After the Second World War, Gandey's was part of a massive push for 'Holidays at Home' where it encouraged people to visit their parks and help their local economy.

75 years on, Gandey's is still providing a family-friendly experience.

Unlike last year, when capacity was reduced to under 400 people in the red top due to social distancing, this year's shows will see around 1,000 spectators.
