Achraf Hakimi has already named his dream club amid talk of making Chelsea transfer decision

Achraf Hakimi's previous admission about his dream club may alert Chelsea fans.

The Blues have been tipped to add the right-back to their first-team squad during the summer transfer window as Thomas Tuchel looks to make tweaks that ensure his side are Premier League title challengers next season.

And it would appear that Hakimi is his first-choice target to provide competition for Recce James and Cesar Azpilicueta in the right-wing back role.

As reported by Sky Sports, last week Chelsea launched a £56.1million offer for the defender, matching the bid that was already on the table from Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain.

However, it is understood that Inter Milan want closer to £68.6million.

With that said, it's not the first time Hakimi has been at the centre of transfer rumours.

Prior to his two-year-loan spell with Borussia Dortmund loan spell coming to an end in 2020, the Morocco international made no secret that he wanted to return to parent club Real Madrid.

But despite naming them as his dream club, Hakimi was sold to Inter Milan last summer in a deal worth a reported £36m fee.

"It's always been my dream to play for the Real Madrid first team and train alongside the best in the world," he said, as per AS.

Whilst reports in France claim Hakimi would prefer to seal a move to PSG this summer, it's not uncommon for players to represent teams they don't support.

And it's not likely to be a factor that could see Chelsea regret their decision to pursue the defender.

But should Hakimi eventually end up at Stamford Bridge and Real Madrid come calling a few years down the line, it's almost certain that a problem will arise.
