On Thursday 20 November, Guardian Sustainable Business and H&M will host an evening of debate around achieving fair wages in fashion at the Guardian’s London headquarters.
This free event will bring together fashion brands, sustainability experts, NGOs and journalists to explore the issues and complexities of setting a fair wage in production countries that supply the fashion industry.
Through a panel debate, we will highlight arguments for and against benchmarking and setting minimum wages and delve into the role of governments, brands, trade unions and workers in creating a fairer fashion industry.
