A 25-year-old man will face Elizabeth Magistrates Court via video link from Port Pirie today accused of endangering life, aggravated assault, driving dangerously and firearms offences after a manhunt in Wallaroo on Monday and Tuesday.

A 27-year-old woman has also been arrested in connection to the search.

Police arrested Wallaroo man Jake Dohnt in a Port Wakefield paddock last night and questioned him at the Kadina police station.

Senior Constable Dave Muir said Mr Dohnt was found after officers received information that he had left Wallaroo, on the Yorke Peninsula.

He was spotted driving north on Port Wakefield Road in St Kilda about 4:00pm and arrested at gunpoint about 5:40pm.

"We had assistance with the police helicopter and we successfully spiked the car on two occasions however the car did continue north through Port Wakefield until it collided with a member of the public's vehicle," Senior Constable Muir said.

"The occupants of that vehicle thankfully only sustained some minor injuries and were taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital."

Police also arrested a woman in the northern Adelaide suburb of Clearview about 2:30pm yesterday.

She will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today on charges of impeding an investigation and breaching bail.
