A 51-year-old man has denied stalking his former partner over a four-year period - and entering her bedroom when she was having sex with her new boyfriend.
Gary Wiedenhof is also accused of refusing to return her house key and entering her bed, while she was asleep, and refusing to leave.
He also denied charges of assaulting his ex and shooting a teenager on the body with a BB gun at a property on the North Muirton housing estate.
The accused, of Largo Place, Edinburgh, will face trial at Perth Sheriff Court on October 14.
It is alleged that on various occasions between September 1, 2014, and June 1, 2018, at the North Muirton flat and at a business address in Perth city centre, he engaged in a course of conduct which caused the female “fear or alarm.”
He is said to have repeatedly attended at the house and repeatedly entered the garden and/or a shed there.
It is further claimed he repeatedly watched her from the bedroom door and went into her bedroom when she was engaged in sexual activity with her partner.
He is also accused of repeatedly sitting in his motor vehicle on the street outside her home, staring at the property, and repeatedly attending at the business premises and staring at her.
The detailed charge also alleges that he caused damage to her vehicle and made a threatening remark that he would end his life if she didn’t reconcile with him.
A second charge states that between September 1 and October 1, 2014, at the house in North Muirton, he pushed her to the body causing her to fall to the ground.
Wiedenhof has lodged a special defence of self-defence to that count.
A final charge alleges that between January 1, 2007, and January 1, 2009, he assaulted the teenage boy with the BB gun.
The accused had his bail continued meantime.
