Accused Club Q shooter Anderson Aldrich will face more than 300 charges

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Anderson Aldrich will face 305 total charges, District Attorney Michael Allen said during the alleged Club Q shooter's first appearance on Tuesday morning.

Allen stated that the charges include first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and bias motivated crime.

Allen noted the prosecution may request to amend these charges in the future.

Judge Michael McHenry following the filing or charges also granted a prosecution request for Aldrich’s arrest affidavit to be unsealed. McHenry stated the affidavit will be unsealed by the end of the day Wednesday.

Aldrich will next be in court for their preliminary hearing, which is scheduled to begin on Feb. 22. Allen told the court he anticipates the preliminary hearing will last 2 days.
