The business advisory team at Anderson Anderson & Brown has secured £1 million of new business wins in 2019.
What the firm described as a flurry of new business activity had resulted in a rise in fee income from last year and it said the team was on target to achieve 20 per cent of the overall AAB group income of £26 million for the financial year 2019/2020.
The business advisory team incudes specialists from the firm’s virtual finance, specialist cloud accounting, business advisory services and private client tax teams.
It was established to aim to develop and streamline a technology driven service to a diverse range of clients.
These clients typically need input from all four areas of specialism but each of them has different requirements.
AAB said that by brining the area of knowledge together in one team and focusing on using technology at the forefront of client delivery it couldl provide a “collaborative all-round service.”
The team of 50 is headed-up by partner Derek Mitchell along with fellow partners Chris Masson and Robbie Gordon.
