
PHITSANULOK: Two men and a woman were injured after a pick-up truck they were travelling in veered off a road at a curve and rammed into a tree in Muang district of this lower northern province on Sunday.
Phoon Nuchrungruang, a security guard at a car repair shop on Phichai Songkhram road, told police the accident occurred at about 2am when a Nissan Navara, which was heading for downtown Phitsanulok, slid sideways onto the median strip at a bend in the road, rammed into a tree and overturned.
Two men and one woman in the vehicle were injured. They were taken by rescuers to a hospital for treatment.
Police said this curve on Phichai Songkhram road is prone to accidents, some fatal, mostly between midnight and dawn.
