Almost all Access Canberra services will be able to be carried out online in response to coronavirus and social distancing rules.

From Monday, all services with the exception of new driver licence applications, can be completed online or over the phone in an attempt to reduce the number of people visiting service centres in person.

All branches will be open from 9am to 4pm on weekdays, including service centres in Woden, Belconnen, Tuggeranong and Gungahlin. The service centre inside the Civic Library remains closed.

Vulnerable people and those with English as a second language will be able to access a dedicated quiet period at service centres between 9am and 11am.

Access Canberra executive branch manager Emily Springett said 450 services would be available to be completed online.

"Unless you are applying for a brand new ACT driver licence, you can do everything over the phone," she said.

"We have even set up a number plate delivery service and will deliver the new plates to your home.

"This change to our service delivery model means we can continue to provide great customer service, while supporting the health and safety of our teams and our community."
