'Accept responsibility' - Nottingham Forest fans plead for Sabri Lamouchi to change style and team

Nottingham Forest's early season struggles continued as they were beaten 2-0 by Cardiff City at the City Ground on Saturday.

The Reds were dire in the first half as Kieffer Moore headed in a tamely defended corner after three minutes.

More weak defending saw Wales striker Moore on target again after 40 minutes, not too long after Lewis Grabban had missed a glorious chance.

Forest were much improved after the break but struggled to create clear cut chances, bar a Ryan Yates header which was tipped over.

Sabri Lamouchi's men have now lost all three of their games this season.

Here's a look at what fans made of the performance on Twitter.

@dan_nbry: Better 2nd half, 4-4-2 with a twist and it was fairly decent, but we still deserved to lose. Tobias has to be dropped, hopefully Christie can get up and running and the defence will improve. Taylor and Freeman the 2 best players for us.

Wayne Slack: Positives from the game today have got to be Freeman and Taylor. Taylor will be no push over this season. The manager again as got to accept responsibility for poor selection and set up in the first half.

Tom Smith: Cardiff just did a perfect away performance on us. We had no energy. No aggression. Don't get deceived with second half with Cardiff sitting on that.

Sabri has to go. No intensity. Nobody running themselves into the ground. We were well beaten.

Jamie Stone: Positives: Taylor and Freeman and defo much improved 2nd half. 1st half though was atrocious and Cardiff didn’t need to do a lot in the 2nd half as an attacking threat. Not sure if that 2nd half will be enough to save his job #nffc

Peter Blackburn: Forest simply have to play with intensity, tempo and attacking commitment from the start of games like they have in the second half today - and as they often do after conceding goals. It is the antithesis to Sabri's style but is clearly the way to go. #nffc

Stephen McCalden: Far too little too late. Impressive 2nd half but the damage was done from 2 bad defensive errors too early on

Andrew Brookes: Better second half...but perhaps just leaves more questions than answers about who to start. Sloppy mistakes cost us

Rob Blackmore: I SINCERELY hope this is a turning point for Sabri. I firmly believe we will come good. Lots of lessons hopefully learnt in just 45-90 mins today. For all those @RyanYates97 haters. Best player on the pitch today. 2 games in, not good but shoots of positivity for me

@kyle___w6: Much better second half but can’t let that paper over any cracks. We’ve been useless at defending set pieces for ages and if Sabri cannot spot that or do anything to change that then he isn’t the man for the job. Taylor and Freeman looked good but we are still so wasteful.
