Charlotte, N.C., will remain the home for the ACC's football championship game until 2030 after the league and the city reached a new 10-year agreement.
The ACC and the Charlotte Sports Foundation reached an agreement that extends the current deal through the next decade. The city was already set to host the 2018, 2019 and 2020 title games.
Bank of America Stadium, which hosted seven of the last eight conference title games, will continue to serve as the host venue.
"Charlotte has been a tremendous home for the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game and we're pleased to announce the Queen City as our championship destination through 2030," said ACC Commissioner John Swofford in a statement Thursday. "With the outstanding efforts by the Charlotte Sports Foundation, Carolina Panthers and city of Charlotte, our game has grown into one of the premier sporting events in the country. We look forward every year to this annual celebration of ACC football."
Last year's game between Clemson and Miami drew 74,372 fans to the stadium, which also serves as home to the NFL's Carolina Panthers.
Bank of America Stadium has hosted the game since 2010 except for 2016 when the game was moved to Camping World Stadium in Orlando in response to North Carolina's HB2 bill which discriminated against the LGBT community.
Before Charlotte, the game was played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa (2008-09) and Jacksonville Municipal Stadium in Jacksonville (2005-07).
