AC Milan to make move for Celtic defender Kris Ajer in coming days as reported fee emerges

AC Milan are set to move for Celtic defender Kris Ajer according to a report.

The Italian giants are said to be keen to sign the Norwegian international in a deal worth around €15million.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Milan have evaluated the player, and could make their move in the coming days.

Talks are set to get underway between the two clubs, although a deal could be structured in such a way so the Italians initially take the player on loan before making the deal permanent at a later date.

It was reported earlier this summer that Ajer's representative had asked Celtic for the player's valuation.

Celtic have already brought in Shane Duffy at the centre of defence but may need to reinforce further should Ajer depart, with Neil Lennon opting to use a 3-5-2 system at times.
