AC Milan are reportedly bracing themselves for an £890 million takeover bid from Louis Vuitton owner and 'world's second-richest man' Bernard Arnault .
The Italian club are currently owned by Elliot Management - but Arnault is believed to be keen to spend some of his £86 billion fortune to make the team his.
As reported by the Mail , Arnault is hopeful of expanding his growing list of businesses despite the current owners reluctance to sell.
Elliot Management only purchased Milan back in 2017 , and have already turned away several offers ranging between £500-700m.
However LVMH owner and CEO Arnault is said to be hopeful of making an offer they cannot refuse.
In addition to Louis Vuitton, the business magnate owns luxury champagne brand Dom Perignon, as well as beauty firm Sephora.
He plans to transform Milan recent fortunes around and restore their position as one of the worlds most successful clubs.
But Milan are already set to depart their San Siro stadium for a newly-built facility, meaning Elliot Management are unlikely to sell up at this time.

The corporation oversaw a messy takeover two years ago when proposed new chairman Li Yonghong defaulted on a pledge to Elliot Management, leading to his and a number of other board members dismissal.
This coincided with the club breaching Financial Fair Play regulations which saw them momentarily banned from European competitions until the decision was lifted by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
On the pitch Milan have also struggled to reach the heights of their historic success, failing to qualify for the Champions League since 2013.
