AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli launches extraordinary X-rated rant at Man Utd coach

AC Milan manager Stefano Piolo was caught on camera launching into a bizarre rant at Manchester United coach Kieran McKenna after Thursday night's Europa League tie.

United dumped Milan out of the competition at the last-16 stage after Paul Pogba came off the bench to score a brilliant winner at the San Siro.

The result was a tough one for Milan to take, considering they were forced to play a depleted team due to injuries to their leading forward players.

And Pioli clearly didn't take too kindly to the defeat, as he was seen ranting at McKenna as he walked down the tunnel.

United first-team coach McKenna had apparently nudged past him and said: "good team", much to the frustration of the Italian.

Pioli then responded by shouting: "Good team s***, a***hole you are nothing else, a***! Your sister good team, your sister."

The footage was shared around social media in the aftermath of the game, before Pioli issued a sheepish apology.

Speaking after his post-match press conference, the Milan boss admitted he got too carried away with himself.

“I’m sorry about the reaction I had, it won’t happen again,” Pioli said.

“I congratulated Solskjaer, I was angry with his assistant.”

United will now face Granada in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, with Solskjaer hunting his first piece of silverware as head coach.

And the Norwegian admitted at the San Siro that he believes his team is growing in confidence after beating the Italian contenders.

Solskjaer said: “There are many good teams left but you’ve got to be spot on.

"It’s a cup competition and anything can happen. But we are through and we feel confident.”
