AC/DC singer provides alternative fix for petrolheads’ current Top Gear crisis

Top Gear may be parked in the broadcasting garage due to Jeremy Clarkson’s suspension (his absence, not the vehicle part), but Monkey’s petrolhead pals will still be able to get their motoring fix with a new car show featuring the lead singer of … wait for it … AC/DC.

Yes, Brian Johnson is fronting a six-part series called Cars that Rock. The show features Brian meeting designers, engineers and car fans from around the world and visiting car plants and race tracks.

It starts on the Quest channel on 16 April, perfect timing for those pining for the missing episodes of Top Gear as it travels along the BBC’s Highway to Hell investigation.
