'Absolutely robbed': Bristol City fans are all saying the same thing about the EFL team of the week

Bristol City fans think one player has been 'robbed' of a place in the EFL team of the week.

Niclas Eliasson scored one goal and set up another in the 5-2 win over Huddersfield on Saturday, as well as playing in the cross which led to Terrence Kongolo's own goal, but has been left out.

Defender Ashley Williiams made it into the side, but fans think Eliasson should have also been included after his stellar performance.

Instead of the Swedish winger, the EFL opted for Fulham striker Aleksander Mitrovic and Reading forward George Puscas.

Puscas hit a five minute hat-trick away to Wigan on the weekend after the Royals went 1-0 down in the first half. His goals in the last 10 minutes of the game rescued all three points.

Mitrovic scored both goals at the Liberty Stadium as Fulham beat Swansea 2-1, moving them to within two points of the automatic promotion places.

Despite the heroics of the two forwards, City fans are still baffled by the decision.

Adam Robinson: Eliasson has been robbed.

Darren Dix: Two assists, one goal and man of the match! Team of week? Nope!

Drew Taylerson: Why no Eliasson really don't get that.

Martin McConachie: No Eliasson? I doubt many people had a better game than him on Saturday, he was unplayable at times.

CRT: Eliasson robbed massively.

Stephen: Eliasson should be there. One goal two assists plus ran Huddersfield ragged.

Ashley Williams made it into the team (Rogan/JMP)

Ned Holmes: Niclas Eliasson has been absolutely robbed.

TheOneRobin: Happy for Ashley of course but surely Eliasson deserves to be there?

One Team in Bristol: Looks like they've spelt Eliasson Puscas.

Paul Slavin: Eliasson should be in there.

Darren Boddy: Where is Eliasson's name, and Brownhill? Flint has to be a joke, surely.
