Some Arsenal fans are in disbelief this afternoon (Thursday) after Alexandre Lacazette was once again left out of the France national squad.
The latest Les Bleus squad has been confirmed this afternoon ahead of games against Albania and Andorra over the upcoming international break, with France boss Didier Deschamps once again leaving the Arsenal striker out of his squad.
Former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is in the squad, along with the likes of Thomas Lemar, Antoine Griezmann and Kingsley Coman, with Nabil Fekir, Wissam Ben Yedder and Jonathan Ikone also included.
But it is the continued omission of Lacazette that has got Arsenal fans talking, with some questioning why the former Lyon striker is not among the forwards making the squad.
Lacazette has 16 caps to his name for the senior national team, having played for France at every age group between U16 and U21 level.
However, he has not featured for Les Bleus since 2017, despite netting twice against Germany in a 2-2 draw in November of that year, just a few months after he had joined Arsenal.
Lacazette was named on the standby list for France ahead of the World Cup in Russia last summer, which Les Blues won, but the 28-year-old did not feature.
And with the Arsenal striker once again missing out on a squad, Gunners fans have been having their say on his absence from the French side.
Here's what some Arsenal fans have been saying on social networking website Twitter, along with what some other fans have said about Lacazette not being involved.
France face Albania at the Stade de France on Saturday, September 7, before facing Andorra in Paris three days later.
