'Absolutely ridiculous' - Fans frustrated by latest Nottingham Forest transfer report

Nottingham Forest fans have been having their say on reports from Spain claiming Chema Rodriguez is set to complete a move to UD Almeria.

The 27-year-old was only signed in the summer window and in recent weeks has finally broken into Sabri Lamouchi’s starting XI.

However, reports from his homeland have now suggested that he is set to return to Spain with Almeria closing in on an agreement.

AS have reported that the deal is ‘closed’ with only an announcement left from both sides.

Almeria manager Jose Maria Gutierrez recently said: "I know that the club works on signing the best players for our team central. It is obvious that we need centers and they know it.

Chema was initially signed on a two-year deal back in August – but was made to wait for his opportunities at the City Ground.

In recent weeks, he has broken into the first team under Lamouchi and supporters on social media are less than impressed that he could be leaving the club after only six months.

Aaron J Owen: He is a good player with bags of potential. Seems cultured I hope we get him to stay

Jason Digby: Hope not, cant keep losing good players.

@HarryKidger: Best defender in the squad

Dylan Cox: surely we didn’t buy someone in august and are now selling them 5 months later?

Matt Hallsworth: That’s a shame. He’s done well when he’s come in.

@Jonny90NFFC: Better at Left Back then Robinson. & although some will find it hard to admit better CB then Dawson.

@NFFCALways1: I’d rather he didn’t tbh... we’re entering the tough end of the season so will need a good squad

@FretwellMartin: Like him to stay but if he wants to go for personal reasons then so be it

Stuart Rowe: be absolutely ridiculous if we let him go
