'Absolutely class' Brandon Williams praised by Norwich City fans as they defeat Everton

Manchester United loanee Brandon Williams has come in for heaps of praise as he played a crucial role in Norwich City's victory over Everton.

The Canaries, who are struggling at the bottom of the Premier League table, took the lead in the 16th minute as Toffees player Michael Keane poked the ball into his own goal at Carrow Road.

Matters got worse for Everton as Williams grabbed an assist after his powerful run and cross allowed Adam Idah the opportunity to double Norwich's lead just two minutes later.

Richarlison's second half goal was merely a conciliation for Everton whose woes under Rafa Benitez continue.

But for Williams and the Canaries it was a brilliant result which could help them if they are to avoid the drop this season.

Taking to Instagram, the 21-year-old said: "What a performance! You deserve that!"

Norwich fans seem infatuated with the United youngster and took the opportunity to praise him on Twitter following the game.

Here is what the East Anglian supporters had to say post-match about Williams.
