Geordies can always be relied on to belt out a tune or two and that's exactly what happened in the centre of Newcastle at the weekend.
Whether it's Sweet Caroline or Freed From Desire, people on a night out in the city don't need a second invitation to have a sing song, which is exactly why massive outdoor karaoke event Kroud Karoke has become such a big success, since it made its debut earlier in the year.
The party night, which invites people onto the stage at Stack in Pilgrim Street to take part in front of sing-offs or lead mass singalongs in front of a packed crowd, was back for its latest instalment on Saturday.
And as you can see in the video above, the big highlights was a mass rendition of Bon Jovi's epic air guitar anthem Livin' on a Prayer which saw a packed crowd all channel their inner Jon Bon Jovi in serious style.
After their biggest party to date, Kroud Karaoke's Alex Schrouder told Chronicle Live "Saturday was record breaker... by 5pm it was at capacity with 1 in 1 out!
"We knew that the event would be extremely popular with karaoke lovers but it’s went to a whole new level.
"People who even don’t like karaoke absolutely love this! We are most definitely going to be planning more events."
"Stack have been amazing! It just fits so well with what we wanted to achieve “festive style” so a big thanks to them for putting us on and all the staff for getting through a crazy amount of people at the bars!"
His dad and co-organiser Chris added "It blew us away on Saturday - the atmosphere was incredible and a real feel good night
"People afterwards were saying how amazing it was and we have helped them create memories to last a life time."
