Alan Shearer insists that Everton’s problems ‘run deeper’ than Rafa Benitez after their 2-1 defeat at Norwich City on Saturday.
The Blues were 2-0 down by half-time after an own goal from Michael Keane and a strike from Adam Idah.
While Richarlison pulled one goal back after the break, it proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
The defeat left Everton 15th in the Premier League table, with just one win from their last 13 top-flight fixtures, and left their manager facing the sack.

ANALYSIS: 'Rafa Benitez in same position as Marco Silva as soft-touch Everton hit new low'
Benitez’s appointment at Goodison Park was a one controversial one given his legendary status at fierce rivals Liverpool.
And the decision simply hasn’t yet to be justified with the Blues now just six points clear of the relegation zone.
It's been widely reported that the Everton's board are in talks over whether to dismiss Benitez.
But Shearer insists that the Spaniard is not the only one to blame for the mess the club find itself in.
“He’s been in the game long enough to know that you have to get results as a manager or a coach," Shearer said whilst analysing the Blues’ defeat on Match of the Day.
“If you don’t you’re under huge pressure and the probability is you’ll probably lose your job.
“Yes those results have been dreadful, but the problems run deeper than the manager at Everton when you see how many managers they’ve gone through and how much they’ve spent on some of the players.
“It’s just phenomenal, absolute madness.”
