'Absolute joke' - These Arsenal fans are furious with Matteo Guendouzi decision

With Arsenal 2-1 down at home against Tottenham in the North London derby, and with 71 minutes on the clock, the Gunners needed a bit of inspiration to get back into the game.

Up stepped Matteo Guendouzi.

Lurking just outside the Spurs penalty area, the Frenchman shaped for what looked like was going to be a long-range shot, but instead clipped an outstanding pass into the path of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who made it 2-2 with a great finish past Hugo Lloris.

It was a great assist, in what was a brilliant overall performance from the 20-year-old, who shone in central midfield and played a key part in Arsenal's fightback in the derby.

The youngster was calm in possession but eager to win the ball back when out of possession, showing real passion and maturity in his performance in such a high-profile fixture.

However, the Fantasy Premier League clearly didn't agree.

After the game, the FPL announced the bonus points awarded for Arsenal vs Spurs on their official Twitter page.

As you can see, there was no mention of Guendouzi, with Aubameyang, Eriksen and Kane claiming bonus points in this fixture, despite an epic box-to-box display.

Predictably, Arsenal fans were not happy with the FPL's decision and let their feelings be known on Twitter.

To make matters worse, with the international break coming up, it will be another two weeks until the next FPL gameweek!

Do you think Guendouzi should have got a bonus point this week?
