'Absolute class' - Blackpool fans keen to sign Bristol City defender Taylor Moore permanently

Blackpool fans have been full of praise for Taylor Moore since his loan move from Bristol City.

The 22-year-old completed a deadline day move from the Robins to the Tangerines on loan until the end of the season last month and has impressed at Bloomfield Road.

Moore has since played in five games for his loan club, and the centre-back last night scooped man of the match in their 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers.

It has led to plenty of Tangerine fans being keen to sign him up on a permanent basis.

Chris Lomas: Come on Blackpool, you know what to do with him. He is class.

Danny Bateman: Fancy a permanent move up north?

Derek Yarwood: Come on Taylor. You know this is the place for you next season.

Steve Hembury: Great display again from Taylor Moore. Does he fancy making the move permanent?

Paul Robinson: He was absolutely class tonight.

Rob Walker: Taylor Moore was excellent tonight.

Sarah Montgomery: Moore played brilliantly.

Tony Lawson: Taylor Moore is difference class at the back, he's won everything, composure on the ball and good passing.

On Blackpool's Fans Online forum, Tangerines fans were also calling for him to be signed - with one going as far as to compare the former Lens defender to Virgil van Dijk.

Slugworth: "Please get this man signed as soon as possible. He's a class act, reads the game, comfortable on the ball, not frightened to go forward, good header of a ball, can tackle and leads his co-defenders by example.

"I know we are only in League One but doesn't that read a little like a certain Dutch defender that plays at number four for the Premier League Champions Elect? There aren't many like this fella so get him snapped up before someone else does!"

Moore has averaged a total of 5.6 clearances per game since moving to the Tangerines, and has misplaced just five passes in his five matches.

After being sent out on loan for more game time, despite playing regularly for the Robins in the first half of the season, it appears the youngster is thriving in League One.
