Some Arsenal supporters are predicting big things for young Gunners striker Folarin Balogun after the 18-year-old shared a video capturing some of his best goals for the club's academy so far.
The New York City-born forward, who doesn't turn 19-years-old until early-July, has been making all of the right noises at youth-level for the Gunners over the past couple of seasons, providing Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta with plenty of food for thought about the prospect of promoting him to the first-team in the near future.
Balogun scored 28 goals in 28 matches across all youth-level competitions last season, including 19 goals in 25 games in the Under-18s Premier League before scoring 10 times in 15 Premier League 2 matches this term.
To have scored 10 goals in just 15 games at Under-23s level for an 18-year-old is no mean feat, meaning he could prove to be a real star in the future, with some people already hinting that he could be the ideal long-term replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who could be set to leave the club in the next transfer window if a suitable offer comes the Gunners' way.
And some of Arsenal's supporters are now urging Arteta, who has recently been allowed to return to the club's London Colney training base to conduct training sessions ahead of the Premier League's plan to resume the season next month, to hand the youngster, who went on the club's pre-season tour to the USA last summer, a chance to impress at first-team level after the striker posted a video on social media on Sunday.
Balogun's tweeted: "Excited to see what the future holds!"
His tweet has certainly grabbed the attention of plenty of Gunners supporters, who were left very impressed by what they saw in his highlights reel, prompting some of them to urge Arteta to hand him a chance to impress in the senior squad.
